Thurber Mingus

A brand new spin on food is present at Thurber Mingus. When they greet you, they introduce their restaurant and give information about the Chef; the Chef is all about natural, Texas food.

The restaurant decor shows the commitment to nature and up-cycling. It looks like a lot of the furniture is locally made from recycled materials.

The kitchen is awesome too. The best thing on the menu are the herbed fries. None of the fries are regular at Thurber Mingus. These herbed fries will make you lick your fingers and fight your friends for the sauce on the fries. They use three herbs to make them, and the likelihood of the herbs coming from their pallet garden is very high.

The burger with goat cheese and bacon is thick and juicy. The burger will not disappoint. It would not be surprising if this burger is winning awards all over the city soon.

Their craft drinks are refreshing and strong. On part of their drink menu, they have a two drink maximum; this will definitely get you "your money's worth."

Welcome to Fort Worh Thurber Mingus. You have succeeded at up-cycling a beautifully hidden location.

Little Red Wasp

Little Red Wasp is lovely. It is the perfect place for a day when you feel like having a super fancy date but don't want to pay for it. It's among the $1000 restaurants but you can get out of there for under $100.
The cocktails are yummy. The whiskey one is a very manly drink, boys don't be afraid to have a whiskey drink out of a martini glass.
The best thing available at Little Red Wasp is the Brussels sprouts. If you never learned to eat vegetables as a young person, go to Little Red Wasp and indulge in the Brussels sprouts. It will feel like you are a vegetable lover!
Little Red Wasp is a great choice among downtown restaurants in Fort Worth. The drinks are yummy and the food is delicious.
